How do rebates and tax credits work in New York State? 

Under the New York State Clean Heat Program a rebate for a typical whole house system ranges from $500 to $7,500 and will depend on your custom installation. The heat pump system must be installed by a qualified participating contractor. The new federal Inflation Reduction Act includes tax credits for both air-source and ground-source heat pumps.
