Project Description
The Lake Flower Streetscape project is a corridor planning and streetscape improvement initiative focused on enhancing safety, accessibility, connectivity, and the public experience along Lake Flower Avenue.
The project area extends along Lake Flower Avenue between River Street and Turtle Pond Road. Through funding provided by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Smart Growth Grant Program, the Village is evaluating opportunities to improve bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, strengthen corridor connectivity, enhance safety, and create clearer signage and wayfinding throughout the corridor.
The study will help guide future investments and identify improvements that support walkability, transportation access, waterfront connectivity, neighborhood character, and economic vitality along one of the Village’s primary gateways.
Project Status
The project is currently in the planning and existing conditions analysis phase. Public input is being collected through community surveys and corridor planning materials, including the Lake Flower Avenue Corridor Study.
