Saranac Lake Hometown Heroes Banners
The Hometown Heroes banner program is an initiative that honors the men and women of the Saranac Lake community who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Banners featuring their photos and service details will be displayed in the Village, hung on the power poles. This program is a non-political, non-partisan tribute to their service and sacrifice, run in partnership between the Women’s Civic Chamber of Saranac Lake and the Village of Saranac Lake.
The banners are printed on heavy-duty vinyl and will include the honoree’s name, rank, service branch, and era served. Measuring 2 feet wide by 4 feet long (24”x48”), these large banners ensure readability by both pedestrians and motorists.
Applications are CLOSED for 2026.
