Q: How much does it cost to attend a concert?

A: All Music on the Green concerts are completely free. This series is a Village event supported by generous sponsors and grant funding. Please support our sponsors—they help keep the music playing!


Q: How does seating work?

A: Seating is bring-your-own. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair and make yourself comfortable. Dancing is always encouraged!


Q: Is this a family-friendly event?

A: Absolutely. Music on the Green welcomes all ages and all lovers of live music.


Q: Is parking available?

A: Parking is available for free throughout downtown.

Q: Is there food or drink available for purchase?

A: We do not host food vendors. Feel free to bring your own food and beverages or grab takeout from one of Saranac Lake’s local restaurants. Please help keep Riverside Park clean by using the provided trash bins.


Q: Is this a rain-or-shine event?

A: Yes — the event will continue regardless of the weather. However, an alternative location may be used depending on conditions.

 

 

 

Q: Are there restrooms at the concert venue?

A: There are port-a-jons in Riverside Park. Public restrooms are also available downtown, including at the Berkeley Green parking lot.


Q: Can I bring my own alcohol?

A: Riverside Park is an alcohol-free public space. Please enjoy beverages at one of Saranac Lake’s many restaurants and bars before or after the show.


Q: Can I bring my pet?

A: Yes! Pets are welcome at Music on the Green as long as they are leashed and you clean up after them. Please be mindful of other concertgoers when choosing where to sit with your pet.

Q: Can I watch from the water?

A: Yes! Many concert-goers enjoy listening from canoes, pontoons, or paddleboards on Lake Flower. Please follow all local boating and safety regulations.
