The Village of Saranac Lake Staff strive to make the Village of Saranac Lake an enjoyable place to live and work for our residents. Our commitment to public service as well as providing the best quality of life is of greatest importance to all of us. Staff are dedicated to ensuring that residents are able to enjoy beautiful parks, clean streets, fresh drinking water, well-connected sidewalks, responsive emergency services, courteous customer service, and more. Main Offices are located in the historic Harrietstown Town Hall on Main St.


The Village operates under the Council-Manager form of government, which means the Village Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Village’s departments.


The majority of the Village offices are located on the 2nd floor of the Harrietstown Town Hall located at 39 Main St. Here you can find the Village Manager, Clerk, Treasurer, Accounts Payable, Human Resources, Community Development Department, Planning and Zoning & Building Departments.
