Alice Hyde Hospital has reported the following information to the Emergency Operation Center:
Alice Hyde Hospital will only provide COVID-19 tests to inpatients in the hospital, Emergency Department patience awaiting inpatient admission and residents of the Alice Center who meet CDC and Public Health guidelines for COVID -19.  Limited testing is a result of a national shortage of COVID-19 testing kits.  People who are mildly ill are asked to follow the CDC guidelines surrounding COVID-19.  If an individual is feeling ill they should contact their primary care provider and only visit a medical facility at the direction of the provider or if they are severely ill.  Going to an emergency facility will not directly result in a test for COVID-19.
There are currently NO confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County.  There are approximately 30 individuals who have been tested or are being monitored as a result of exhibiting symptoms or having a possible exposure.
