FRANKLIN COUNTY COVID-19 UPDATE

 

Malone, NY – The Franklin County Emergency Operation Center is providing the following update to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

There are currently NO confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County.  The number of individuals being monitored or are self-quarantined has increased over the past 24 hours.  This trend was anticipated and is expected to continue for the foreseeable future.  Test results are beginning to return and individuals with negative test results are being removed from monitoring.  

Effective Friday March 20, the Alice Hyde Medical Center will suspend all non-medical visitation.  The hospital will continue to screen everyone who enters the medical facility in response to the COVID pandemic.  These temporary restrictions are in place to protect all health care workers and vulnerable patients.
