GREEN INITIATIVES

The Village is working toward a greener community. Through programs, such as NYS Climate Smart Communities, the Village has set goals related to climate action. Most recently, a Community Choice Aggregation local law was passed by the Village Board.

HOUSING

The Village has an adopted Housing Plan to help guide the Village toward viable solutions to housing issues. The next step is to convene the Housing Task Force which was set up to track progress, assist with the completion of action items, and study best practices and successful strategies for housing development. Members of the Housing Task Force were approved at the April 25, 2022 Village Board Meeting.
