Q: What is the Cruisin' Car Show?

A: The Cruisin’ Car Show is a community celebration of classic, custom, and specialty vehicles held in Downtown Saranac Lake. The event brings together car enthusiasts, local businesses, and visitors for a fun, family-friendly day.


Q: Where does the event take place?

A: The Cruisin’ Car Show takes place in Downtown Saranac Lake, on Main Street and in the Main Street parking lot. 


Q: What types of vehicles can participate?

A: All makes and models are welcome, including classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, antiques, custom builds, and specialty vehicles.


Q: Where do I park if I'm not bringing my car?

A: Parking is available for free throughout the Village. The only parking area closed will be the Main Street Lot.

Q: Do I need to register my vehicle?

A: Yes, vehicle registration is required to participate in the show. Please visit the "Register Your Vehicle" tab to complete registration.


Q: Is there a registration fee?

A: Yes, there is a $25 vehicle registration fee for participants, per vehicle entered into the show. Spectators can attend the event for free.


Q: How can local businesses or sponsors get involved?

A: Businesses interested in sponsoring or participating are encouraged to contact the event organizers for more information.

Q: What time should participants arrive?

A: Participants should arrive between 8:30 AM - 10 AM. Please enter at the St Bernard's entrance of the Main Street Lot. See map


Q: Are awards given out?

A: Yes, awards will be presented for selected categories in front of the Harrietstown Hall at 2 PM.


Q: Is this a family-friendly event?

A: Absolutely. The Cruisin' Car Show welcomes all ages.


Q: Is parking available?

A: Parking is available for free throughout downtown.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Well-behaved pets on leashes are welcome. Please be mindful of crowds and the vehicles.


Q: Will there be food and shopping nearby?

A: Yes! Downtown Saranac Lake offers a variety of local restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance of the event. There will also be a selection of food and drink trucks at the event.


Q: What happens if it rains?

A: The event will continue. Any weather-related updates or cancellations will be communicated through official channels.


Q: Are downtown streets closed during the event?

A: The section of Main Street between the Harrietstown Hall and Berkeley Green Park will be temporarily closed during the length of the event.
