Music on the Green is the free weekly concert series in Riverside Park that runs from July 6th to August 10th, showcasing talented artists in folk, funk, bluegrass, and indie.
This 12-piece orchestra is led by Bronx born bassist, Alex Torres. They have been presented by hundreds of festivals, performing arts centers, and events annually to perform their original blend of Afro-Carribean rhythms such as Salsa, Merengue, Cha-cha, Bomba, Plena, and Latin Jazz.
This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts.
